Created by Carlos Benaim and Anne Flipo designed the aroma, which begins with base notes of tobacco, cedar, tonka bean, ambroxan and patchouli. These woody aromas perfectly blend into middle notes of caviar, orris root and sage. A floral-citrus combination is evident in the top notes of bergamot, lavender, cardamom and violet leaf. The bottle may look "bad," but the aroma is all good. This long-lasting scent is moderate to heavy but not overwhelming.

The company, which is now under parent company L'Oreal, has products in more than 5,000 stores around the world.
